Tulum Cheese is one of the famous flavors in Erzincan region. It is produced from sheep's milk and is a special product for the region. It does not contain additives and preservatives.
Erzincan tulum cheese, this magnificent and natural product is obtained only from sheep and goat milk fed at high altitudes. Although its name is Erzincan tulum cheese, it is also produced in various provinces of our Eastern Anatolia and Southeastern Anatolia regions in highlands with high altitude and rich flora. This product has a natural, unique flavor and aroma. No additives are added to this product and it is produced by adding natural shirden yeast and table salt to the milk collected in the highlands. According to supply and demand, the cheese is pressed into food-grade plastic drums or goat skins and left to ripen (fermentation) in cold storage. The product is offered for sale after maturing in cold storage for at least 9 months.
